About Me and My Road to Success
Do Any of You Know Someone Like Me?
I was a late comer to the world wide web, and didn't even own a cell phone or computer until my mid forties.
When first introduced to the internet, I was completely computer illiterate - and didn't even know what a mouse was!
Ah, . . . I'm just kidding a little bit.
Eventually, I became enthralled with the idea of establishing my own business online - but had no idea what I was in for.
I met lots of crooks, . . . fell into one scam after another and lost more money and time than I had a right to.
Have you ever known anyone to run through the internet? That was me, just bouncing from "opportunity" to "opportunity" - not knowing what was real or legit.
Life on the High Seas
After I graduated from high school, I joined the navy to see the world.
Aside from the sea duty, I had a good time.
My ship (CV-60 Saratoga) pulled into some nice ports -
and gave me the chance to enjoy the lofty castles of france -
moody moors and vineyards of Spain -
beautiful countryside and cobble stoned streets of Yugoslavia -
romantic sites of Italy -
tropical breezes of the jamiaca and the peaceful island of Puerto Rico.
Gradually, I grew tired of being anchored to a ship, so tried my hand at being a Marine - and I loved it.
My profession was military police; and I was stationed at an air station in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Later, after deciding that I wanted to experience more, I enlisted in the Army for military police (again).
They assigned me to a beautiful place at Fort Lewis, Washington.
Soon after, I found myself on the way to Seoul, Korea for a team spirit '88 exercise.
Getting Back on Track
Overall, I experienced a lot during my time in the military, and learned a lot about myself - and of what I wanted.
During all of this activity, I never stopped thinking about owning my own business.
Throughout the years, I dabbled around with several different trades and really got some experience under my belt.
Some of the things included judgment recovery; note brokering; real estate investing; auctions; copywriting and so forth.
During all of this time of trial and error, I never had much success with business at all.
Either I was actually quite good at it, but had to deal with dishonest folks who cheated me - or I just wasn't any good at it at all.
However, it finally occurred to me what I had become good at.
Marketing!!
That's the one thing that I taught myself how to be proficient at. I learned how to successfully create marketing campaigns, but had no idea what to do with my expertise.
Then one day I inadvertently stumbled across SBI - and everything suddenly made sense for me.
This newfound insight has turned my life around, and given me acutal hope for a very bright future.
Thanks to them, I eventually learned how to find a business niche, build a website, optimize my webpages, and market even better than I thought was possible.
